Lisa's home is built with sustainable modular wall panels, Wally Walls, which her husband co-developed.
From Lisa: "Wally Walls is an affordable, sustainable, and sensible way to build. Wally Walls has branched into the energy efficient home market—creating affordable homes that rely on natural resources, using solar powers, heat pumps, sustainable materials, etc . . . Our home is decidedly Mid Century and has a flat roof because we have a full solar array, energy efficient windows and doors, bamboo flooring, hardie plank exterior siding mixed with white pine. Our home is used as a show home, and we have been able to show new and potential clients why the design lends itself to sustainability practices and design. It's not totally finished—we're getting there."
As always, bring your business cards, your beautiful selves, let me know if you have someone new you'd like to bring along or if you're new to the group and I'll send a welcome email before the 25th (and feel free to bring a treat to share, if you'd like).
